I had (well, still have) and internship (until Friday afternoon). Good thing is: The internship had to show me if I wanted to become a real estate agent thingy, bad thing is: I don't.
So I have to look for another thing to do.
Then my parents suggested to study again, preferably languages. And I don't have to do it in 3 years, I could do it in 4 or 5 or 6.
That could be a good idea, but what I want to study is Romance studies. I could major and minor in Romance studies, meaning I can choose two from three languages: Frensh, Spanish or Italian. Since there will be a test at the beginning to determine the niveau of everyone, it's logical I should study French and Spanish, since I just started learning Italian. (We'll be going to Venice again this year, so I thought "why not learn some, so we could actually order stuff at a restaurant..." XD) But I really, really want to study Italian...
But... I don't know. That's a good idea. And I could take some language classes (Hebrew, Italian, Arabic, whatever the fuck I want).
Oh, another good thing is: I don't have to know Latin to do this anymore. It was required until last semester. :>
I'm going to think about it. If I do five or six lectures each week, it's ok. Last semester I had 11 or 12 lectures. That was awful.

Because that's how far I've gotten before my eyes fell out.
Playing 5 hours straight is nothing you should do ever. According to the health warnings at the beginning of every game, but fuck that.
Now for my first impression. From least important to most important:
Graphics
The graphics are nice. Some occasional texture-popping, but that doesn't make the graphics look bad. It reminds of SH2, 3 and 4 with better graphics, higher resolution, more polygons etc. Very neat! :>
Technical issues
It's quite laggy, but since I haven't teared anything to shreds yet, it's totally acceptable. I heard the PS3 version lags more.
Gameplay
Just like good old times. You walk around, find stuff, pick up said stuff, use said stuff on puzzles or you just carry it around like first-aid kits, a gun, a flashlight etc. Some backtracking, too! And sometimes to open new passageways, you have to use melee weapons which lie around everywhere. This was done very well. Combat is okay, too. I prefer to run, but when you're inside a building and you'd rather kill the monsters to clear your way (like me), it's to kill small monsters, it's hard to kill some big monsters. Every monster has unique attacks, too! The monster design is plain, though, but I don't know what significance they have, yet. So maybe it's justified.
Atmosphere
Great, great atmosphere! The sound is superb, creating emotion (to the point where I was nearly crying at the beginning of the game.) So, so beautiful! You really should take your time to listen to the music and to the radio songs. Sound effects fit into the atmosphere, making you uncomfortable at times. The rain adds to the atmosphere. When it starts to rain, you should go inside a building. If you don't, it begins to thunder and flash. That's quite unsettling.
Story
OH GOSH IT'S SO MAGNIFICENT! And I haven't even played through half of the game. I love Murphy's character and can't wait to hear all of his background. I won't tell any more. I just love it. I hope it stays as great as I imagine it. XD
Okay that's all I can think of right now.
If Downpour keeps it up, it could replace SH2 and 4 as my favorite games.

I have ordered the game today and hopefully it will arrive soon. It's been out since March 29th, so I couldn't order it sooner.
I've read some reviews already, most complaining about technical issues (which I hope will be fixed with a patch), but not everyone had these issues. People complain about the monster design, too, but we'll see if I think it's that bad.
I'm particularly interested in Murphy's story and the puzzles and exploring, so I won't be fighting many monsters anyway. (They affect the endings, btw.)
The combat is supposed to be clunky and people complain about Murphy not being able to dodge properly, but what do they expect? He isn't a fighting machine like Alex. We'll see if it makes it worse or better for the atmosphere.
Speaking of which, the atmosphere, and the sound seem to be great, but people complain about the graphics. Since I don't give a flying fuck about graphics, I probably won't be bothered by supposedly "bad" graphics or anything.
When I have started playing the game, I will write my first thoughts. I won't go into detail about the story, but I will write if it's good, decent or great. (And it better be great... >>') After I have finished the game, I will list everything positive and everything negative.
I'm quite excited, I must say. :D

In my last entry, I told you about writing job application.
Well, one company had answered, invited me to a group job interview and I did horribly.
Needless to say they didn't want me. After a while of getting over this (about a day or two), I decided to write another job application. Done that just now because I have always forgotten about it.
I'm still waiting for the reply from another company. It's really difficult finding a company looking for apprentices with Abitur. Most companies want people with Realschulabschluss or even Hauptschulabschluss.
Okay to make things easier to understand: Abitur=best, Realschulabschluss=second best, Hauptschulabschluss=third best, not quite good, but at least you can do find some jobs.
Uuuh yeah... I finished Uncharted 3, and really liked the scenes with drugged Nathan. I was thinking "hey, he's drugged, but not too drugged to find treasures *picks up treasure*"
I also played some Co-op with my sister's boyfriend and it was quite awesome.
Though it seemed as if at the end of the game it was a little rushed... I would have liked to spend more time in the Lost City.

Haven't been here a while, mostly because nothing much has happened.
Anyway, I have written two letters of application the past few days (actually my mother wrote one of them and I changed it for another job application). Of course I haven't received any answers yet, I have written them yesterday and on Saturday... because I didn't have a decent photo of me for things like these and bla.
I'm applying for an apprenticeship as a senior trade specialist. ...which is a little difficult to explain right now so if you don't know what this is, I can tell you in German, though... hah.
It has snowed today. It's awfully foggy. I'm alone at home (with three dogs). As long as the dogs don't turn into Sniffer Dogs, I'm all right. Don't want Silent Hill right now because I bruised both my hands, my left foot and my left shin, so I can't run and I can't fight. So if the world turns into the Silent Hill Otherworld today, I'm screwed.
Speaking of which, I dreamt of zombies last night and apparently, they are a symbol for, I quote, "tremendous stress" and "being helpless and overpowered". Sucks to be me.
I think that's all I have to say right now.
Although I'm thinking of creating a second tumblr blog for personal purposes.

Finally I formatted my hard drive (or one of them - the main hard drive) and installed Windows 7. Now I'm like "aghdasj this is so different", but heck, I've used Windows 95, 98, XP and Vista before and EVERY time I was "ahdjkasdhjka this is so different". And also: I'm old. Oh God.
Anyway, as long as I have stuff like "hide task bar automatically" or "pin important programs to your task bar" I'm quite happy.
My task bar is pink now, too. That is amusing. It was black-ish before on Vista. But pink is kinda cute. I regret nothing. :>
I won't change my cursors anymore, though, since I think that that does actually slow down your PC. I don't even know if I still have the ones I used. Maybe, just maybe I will use them sometime soon again. I don't know.
I still have a lot of work to do, but I'll do the rest tomorrow. All I needed now was AntiVir, Firefox, Winamp, and GIMP. And set the sound settings to "no sounds" (Done this for so many years. All my PCs with all their operating systems are completely silent. Since Windows 98.)
Honestly, I feel old talking about Windows 95 and 98. I actually still have a laptop which uses Windows 98. Its hard drive has 2GB space. 2GB! That's madness.
Good night, then. ♥

Okay I managed to exmatriculate from university, applied for a job (but I haven't gotten the confirmation or ...the opposite of it... yet, will receive feedback on Friday, though.)
I'll either start working next year or... not. They had another applicant today (who's still working today so they can check if she's okay for the job or not, as I did on Monday) and I have absolutely no idea who I'm competing with.
And if they say I can work there next year, I don't know if I can do it. I don't want to quit this, too. But we'll se. I thought it was fun on Monday, so maybe it isn't that bad. And I really need 1) something to do, 2) money, 3) experience. Especially money, though. Because... I have like 200€-300€ in total or something. That's not too much.
Umm anyway I haven't been feeling well lately, so I hope it gets better. (Then again, I can't even remember the last time I was feeling well.)
I also had a few strange dreams the past nights. Like exchanging love letters with Skyward Sword's villain Ghirahim, or being in prison and Ghirahim was the prison guard. My name was also Samus, but Ghirahim called me Rumms (...whaatever...) and then suggested a nicer name but I don't remember it.
And the night before the last I dreamt I was Solid Snake sneaking around tranquilizing guards.
...these dreams keep me alive, somehow. XD My nights would be awful with just normal dreams and nightmares.
Oh, okay, wall o' text.

I quit. I haven't sent in the exmatriculation form yet, but I will do so in the next few days.
I didn't think I'd chosen the wrong course, but it seems I have. I really didn't like it anymore.
Saying goodbye to the people I met made me sad, though.

I know I'll be getting Assassin's Creed Revelations for my birthday (because it is one of the only three items on my list XD), but I will play it with a friend on Saturday as well! I'm looking forward to it because then I can play it twiiiiiice. :>
Skyward Sword will be out this week, too. asdfghjkl so many games. I love that my birthday is in November. :> (And at the end, too. So if something's released Nov 27th, I could get it. XD)
The Starsailor albums I ordered aren't here yet, but they're shipped from the UK, so it'll take a while.
Today is my sister's boyfriend's birthday and this Saturday we're going to celebrate it. </trivia>
I'd need another post to rant about university and the people there because there is something that annoys me to no end. :/ (I just always seem to attract the guys I'm not interested in... XD)
